Top 5 Reasons CareNow Is Great For A Busy Summer

The summer is here and that means a lot of activities, plenty of time in the outdoors, and road trips to see family. We moved to a new city about 9 months ago and we have been exploring as much as we can. We are also making sure to take trips back home to visit the family we left behind. While we’ve been on the go, there have been a fair share of boo boos and bruises.

Top 5 Reasons CareNow Is Great For A Busy Summer

With two little ones and a daredevil husband, the last thing I want to worry about is where to get the care I need this summer. We love that CareNow is available for our busy summer and I’ve got 5 reasons why!

Reason 1: There are over 100 locations across the country.

I have 4 locations within 20 miles of my home. Once you jump online, you simply add your location and it will pull all the locations near you. It will then provide hours, info and directions to that location.

Reason 2: Open Late & On Weekends (hours vary by clinic)

One too many times I have had to try to squeeze in an appointment with our pediatrician and it has cost me extra each time because I was only able to make it to later than 5PM or weekend appointments. All of the CareNow locations near my home are open until 8PM at night, so I won’t ever have to experience that issue again!

Reason 3: Convenience of Web Check-In

No need to stand around in a waiting area, you can wait from home. This is especially important if you have a tiny toddler like I do. I never want to try and entertain one kid while taking care of another. I’m able to avoid this by checking in online, which also allows me to get in and out quickly. Don’t let long waits put a snag into your summer plans.

Reason 4: The Range of Services

CareNow offers everything from immunizations, medical tests, treatments for things like sprains or ear infections and screenings. Check out their site for a full list of services.

Reason 5: Physicals

This these are so ideal while I’m in the back to school hustle and bustle. No need to wait in a room with 20 other moms, kids and their siblings. With CareNow you can schedule this during the back to school season, check in at home and arrive when it is time to see the doctor.

I haven’t seen these before, but now I am going to check if there are any close to me. Once or twice I thought we were heading to the ER during the night because nothing is open late. Both times we were able to get the issue under control, but it would be great to have options. Especially the online check-in!

I agree that Urgent Care is awesome to utilize. I hat long waits in the ER and Doctors offices. You can get great service in the Urgent Care. Awesome post!

This sounds like a fantastic and very convenient service. It can be so difficult to schedule appointments when you have children in school and work commitments. Care Now sounds like it fills a useful care gap.

A place that is open late is important to me. Not too long ago my son dislocated his arm and I’m so glad we could go in quickly at night and not have to wait for a long time!

It’s always good to be in network with an urgent care in your area. You never know what might pop up like strep throat or something that needs a quick diagnosis!

I think here we call them walk-in clinics. And they are super convenient when our family doctor is away or fully booked.

I think one of these just opened right by my home. It’s good to know it’s an option when I can’t get to my primary physician or an emergency comes up that’s not quite suited to the ER.

I’ve seen several CareNow facilities around the neighborhood, but I had no idea of all of this. I like how convenient and flexible their itinerary is. But you really got me at online checkin. That’s definitely a huge plus!

I didn’t know you could check in at home. We just used one for a physical because it was going to take too long to get an appt at our pediatrician and my son needed the form for school.

There is nothing worse than the long wait in the ER! Fortunately, we have two urgent care clinics to choose from between home and the nearest ER, so unless it’s midnight, we always go to urgent care instead!

I have boys, so we stayed in some emergency room when they were younger. I don’t think we have any care now in my area, but I love the ease of urgent cares. They are less costly and it beats sitting in a waiting room for hours. Great tips.

As a mum to two little ones, Carenow sounds like such a good service to be subscribed to especially in case or an emergency. We have been stuck in the ER for nearly 6 hours before and trust us, that is no fun at all.
