Everyone wants to make the most of their trip and what better way to do that than to get Instagram worthy selfies in the best spots that each park has to offer?
Check out this list of must hit spots throughout the parks.
The Floating Mountains (Animal Kingdom)
These amazing mountains are located in Pandora. Pandora is one of those places that just takes you to another world without ever leaving the park! The mountains and waterfalls are a prominent feature in the movie Avatar, which this land is based on. Snap a selfie on your way to ride Avatar Flight of Passage because you must walk under the floating mountains to get there!
The Tree of Life
My favorite spot is actually the view you get when walking in the It’s Tough to be a Bug show.
Giant Claw
This spot features the giant claw with lovely silk streamers hanging above. It gives the impression that you are in authentic market. It’s located near the Yak and Yeti restaurant.
Cinderella’s Castle (Magic Kingdom)
You probably guessed this right! Cinderella’s Castle is the perfect selfie spot. In fact, this is the most iconic location in Disney! While snapping a quick pic in front of the castle on Main Street USA is a must, don’t forget to grab a selfie from the walkway just in front of the seating area of The Plaza Restaurant, it’s just off to the right of Main Street. This spot gives a full view of the castle as well as the beautiful foliage in foreground.
Tangled Restroom Area
I know it doesn’t sound like much but this is the great spot to get a night shot. The hanging lanterns glow and Rapunzel’s tower is in the distance.
The Sword in the Stone
Located in the Castle courtyard, this makes a fun photo op of a little one tugging at the sword.
The Pixar Ball (Hollywood Studios)
Everyone knows the Pixar Ball. That bright, yellow and blue ball with the red star is larger than life in Toy Story Land. Located across the way from the Slinky Dog Dash, the ball stands 10 feet tall and weighs over a ton! So you might not get to bounce it but you can get a nice selfie!
Hollywood Boulevard
Upon entering the park, stop just after the turnstiles on the right and face the exit of the park to get a great shot of the tall palm trees lining the shops of Hollywood Boulevard.
Tower of Terror Library
For a creepy vibe, snap a pic inside the library before getting on the ride. Bookshelves filled with both books and cobwebs line the walls.
Temple of Heaven (Epcot)
This is a must see in the China Pavilion. With traditional music playing and tranquil garden areas, this is the perfect spot for a selfie day or night. During the day you will be able to capture the stillness of the reflecting pond dotted with water lillies and at night the structure comes to life with beautiful lighting illuminating each level.
Future World Walkway
The walkway between Future World and World Showcase features the lake with the monorail beam just above. Time your selfie for the monorail to pass which runs about every 15 minutes!
Rose Gold Wall
A popular trend at Disney right now is picture walls. Guests love scouting out the colored walls throughout the parks and Epcot has the trendiest color wall of them all, the Rose Gold Wall! It’s just what is sounds like, a wall in varying shades of rose. It’s located near the entrance of Mission Space.
What’s your favorite selfie spot in Disney World?
I’d love to hear all about it.

We just spent 3 days at Disney last month and definitely took some photos in a few of these areas! We weren’t there after dark since we had quite a few young kids in our group, but I would have loved to see the Tangled area you mention because that’s one of my favorites!

LOL I’m afraid I don’t have any, as I’ve never been to Disney World! (Though I’ve been to DisneyLAND several times, albeit last time about 25 yrs ago!). This list is a great resource for anyone planning to go, though!

The Tree of Life is awesome for selfies. There just isn’t a bad place to get one if you’re next to that tree, because there are so many things carved into it.

Super cool pics. The tower of terrance was so scary to me. If I’m not mistaken, that was the ride like an elevator that dropped. I was done after that. Disney will always ne my spot.

We just went to Disney this past spring and we used photo pass for most of our pictures, but I do have photos in some of those places! My favorite picture spot is the path behind the castle that goes into Fantasy Land. It isn’t usually all that busy and the view is amazing.
