What You Need to Know About Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney World…

When you’re a Star Wars fan, you get excited when Disney World says they’re bringing us something BIG. There are quite a few things we should all know about Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. Before you head out to enjoy this beautiful place, there are some things that you should know. 

First Phase Opening

First of all, it’s important to note when Star Wars: Galaxy Edge will be opened in Walt Disney World on August 29th, 2019. This phase of the attraction will actually include everything except Rise of the Resistance Ride. This is very exciting for all Star Wars lovers. 

Rides to Enjoy

In case you were wondering WHAT rides will be available at Galaxy Edge….it is the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Keep in mind that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance won’t be opened until Phase 2.  You will find that Phase 2 is being held off because Disney is trying their hand at top notch innovation and technology. 

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run 

If you’re the type of person that enjoys simulator type rides, you’re going to love Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. You will get a chance to drive a piece of space machinery. This ride requires the rider be at least 38 inches.

The Star Wars Story

It’s important to note that there aren’t just rides here. When you step into Star Wars: Galaxy Edge, you’re able to create your own Star Wars story. There are all types of things happening here. You’ll be able to shop and eat at various dining places with the theme being Star Wars. According to experts, the different characters that will be out include StormTroopers and Chewbacca. I think you’re going to love the different characters available to interact with. For the most part though, we will all have to wait and see who will be there to entertain us. Getting into the Park

As you may have guessed, there are going to be a lot of people wanting into this land. With this in mind, you should know that there are limitations with who can get in. There are no guarantees or reservations if you’re visiting WDW. However, Disneyland does have some reservations options available. Keep this in mind as you make your travel plans. 

Basically, this is the information that is out and about about Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. There is some exciting stuff brewing and Star Wars fans are going to have a great time.
