I’ve got a tiny toddler with a very large appetite. This means I have to get creative when it comes to meals because although she is not a picky eater, she does get bored with repetative meals. One of our families favorite meals is breakfast. We could eat breakfast items any time of the day.

While at my local Walmart I spotted the Post Honey Bunches of Oats selection. I grabbed a strawberry for my daughter, an Almond for my husband, and a Honey Roasted for me. I knew exactly what I was going to use these boxes for and I wanted to customize the breakfast to each persons liking.

Before taking on this weekend adventures I decided to whip up one of our classic favorites; WAFFLES! Check out the recipe below:

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup Post Honey Bunches of Oats

Pancake Mix

Non Stick Spray

Any special toppings you wish to use (syrup, sprinkles, whipped topping)

Honey Bunches of Oats Waffles

Directions:

Mix your pancake mix according to box directions and set aside.

Grab your Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal mix of your choice (I used strawberry for my little ones dish).

Using a sandwhich size plastic bag add the cereal mix and begin to smash it up into crumbs.

Turn on your waffle maker or warm your griddle if you are pancakes instead.

Pour 3/4 of the cereal crumbs into a single serve amount of pancake mix and gently fold until combined.

Spray your waffle maker well with non stick spray.

Add your pancake and cereal mix into the waffle maker and cook according to your waffle makers directions.

Remove from waffle maker, add your toppings & don’t forget the crumbled cereal you set aside. This can now be added to the top as well for crunch.

SERVE!
