Date nights are few and far between these days due to our hectic schedules, oh and due to the fact that I could give birth any day now. To say I am tired is an understatement, but my taste buds shouldn’t suffer. Like most people my mouth waters at the thought of that restaurant cult fave Bang Bang Shrimp. It is spicy yet sweet and that coating is perfectly absorbed into those delicious fried pieces of shrimp.
To schedule a sitter, try and squish my swollen ankles into a cute pair of heels, wait 45 mins to be seated at a restaurant, all while yawning wishing I was at home in my sweatpants…is not a date night I would enjoy currently.
A quick trip to Walmart allows me to get the same deliciousness while in the comfort of my own home. I picked up the SeaPak® Butterfly Shrimp & SeaPak® Popcorn Shrimp for a date night in of wining and dinning.
Directions:
1 box SeaPak® Butterfly Shrimp & SeaPak® Popcorn Shrimp
Cook the shrimp as instructed on the box.
Create sauce:
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 sweet thai chili sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons honey & whisk until combined.
Once shrimp is cooked drizzle sauce over shrimp while hot and toss lightly
