Can we all make a pact? When you see a mom with a messy bun on top her head and spilt coffee on her shirt carrying a sports bag out of the back of her SUV, can we give her a smile and maybe even a sweet compliment?
Mommyhood is hard ya’ll…like trying to teach a dolphin how to play the piano kind of hard. There are so many unknown obstacles and adventures that we (as moms) never signed up for or saw coming. I have 2 little ones who are very, very active. My 2-year-old is on her second set of front teeth and my other little one participates in local sports activities. P.S- I don’t think my husband will ever hear the end of it from me for letting my little one play with a wrench when she was teething. My older one has suddenly become so aggressive on the soccer field, that I think she might just take the ball away from the ref!
I say “come here, lemme kiss it” at least 4 times a day. No, literally…I gifted them band aids in their stocking this past Christmas. Not to mention that “boo-boo” was my little one’s 2nd word after Da-Da.
My kids are always on the go and I am always here for the boo-boo kisses. Sometimes, though, I can’t be the one to “fix it” and when that time comes, I need to know a place to go where I know we are in good hands. I can think of two times in the past where we’d gone to a medical office in a time of need only to be redirected to another facility because they weren’t able to provide us with all the care we needed. Luckily, I found out about CareNow Urgent Care, which offers a wide range of services and can be our one stop shop in the future!
CareNow offers convenient access to quick healthcare with over 100 clinics across the country. Walk-Ins are always welcome and what I am huge fan of, is that you can check in online then wait from home until it’s your time to go in.
Their local facility offers such convenient hours (open late and on weekends), services for minor physical injuries and illnesses, and even flu shots and physicals when it’s that time of year. It is the perfect option for families like mine that have multiple needs!

I”ve used a care now urgent care. My regular doctor couldn’t get me in and I needed to be seen. The doctors were courtious, professional and I would definitely use them again.

I recently discovered URGENT CARES and um, they are night and day compared to ERs – so so so much easier to deal with, and so much less of a wait time! Thank goodness for urgent cares when you need them!

We’ve used Urgent Care a couple of times. My sister is a regular there with her crazy boys! Luckily, the only times I”ve needed it was when we were out of state so it was the cheaper out-of-network option. It’s always nice to find great emergency care, especially when it comes to caring for kids.

We’ve had a few evenings in urgent care with my daughter — and all have been fairly positive experiences. The waiting was quite long, but I think it was just due to the location we were at. But super clean, and really friendly staff.

Personally, I am so grateful for urgent care, where I have to take my younger daughter on so many occasions. On the other side, as a nurse care manager, I know how urgent care centers can help decrease the costs of all the unnecessary ER visits.

Sounds like a great service… thankfully all healthcare in the UK is provided by the state so you just go to your local Dr’s surgery or hospital if you need treatment.

I have never used this service, but I have heard a lot of good things about them.

That’s great you can check in at home. Urgent Cares sometimes you can wait forever and having kids makes that really difficult. Will have to check what they have near me or if an urgent care has something comparable.

This sounds like such a great service for medical urgencies! Especially when you have young kids! (mine are 3 and 7 yo).We don’t have a similar thing here in Switzerland, and I wonder when they’ll be inspired by the US and create one!

Urgent care is a wonderful resource when you really need it. We’ve had to take my little guy during a camping trip when he got a high fever. They provide so many helpful services.

I’m glad you’ve found an urgent care that works for you and your family!

I love the ease of urgent care facilities, but I am not a fan of them for pediatric use whatsoever. I find simple things like ear infections get over diagnosed and bigger things get referred to a local hospital anyways. However, glad this works for your family!
