Instant Pot Turkey Chili
Garlic, smashed and sliced
Chopped, cooked turkey
Cooked beans (we used red kidney beans)
Canned tomatoes, with juice (we used Rotel)
Turkey broth (you can use chicken or veg)
Place olive oil in the inner pot of Instant Pot and select the saute setting
Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and cook for 3 minutes, until transparent.
Add the garlic and continue to cook for 1 more minute.
Turn off the sauce setting and stir in the turkey, beans, tomatoes, turkey broth and cajun seasoning.
Secure lid on Instant Pot and ensure valve setting is set to seal.
Set to chili/beans setting and increase time to 25 minutes.
release on its own for an additional 10 mins before removing lid.
You can also cook your ground turkey in the instant pot. You would add the turkey to the instant pot prior to your onion and allow to cook, then add your onion till translucent.
