I truly have been quite lucky when it comes to the skincare category. Growing up and even now, I have never really struggled with many issues. Those issues that I did have were always manageable. Especially once I was able to master the art of camouflage aka makeup.
One thing never fails though, and that is around the time of my period I always get a few pop ups of zits. It always happens, like clockwork, right around my jawline or chin. I am not sure if it is the sudden craving for a large Kit Kat that I am indulging in or my hormones that cause it.
In order to fight back with this I have tried out the ZAPZYT Acne Treatment full line of products designed to give you the clear skin you’ve always wanted. The ZAPZYT gel is the original ZIT Zapper (Spot Treatment). The treatment gel is proven to reduce the appearance of acne in 5 hours so if you catch that zit early enough, it could be gone before it shows its ugly head. This is part of my evening skincare ritual right before I begin my menstrual cycle and during. The main ingredient is the benzoyl peroxide, which is effective for my sensitive skin.
ZAPZYT Acne wash I keep in my shower and use to cleanse my skin every other day or third day the week before and the week of my fabulous womanly time. It balances powerful salicylic acid with soothing aloe and chamomile, which is again perfect for my sensitive skin. The salicylic acid strips my pores of the oils, bacteria and blockage that causes the zits in the first place. The Pore Cleansing Scrub is for the exfoliation needed for your skin. It is sensitive enough to use on acne prone skin which is uncommon for products of this type. I use the scrub on average twice a week. You never want to over exfoliate by using it daily.
The Acne Pore is a fave all month long because this product contains 2% Salicylic Acid, but it also has calming ingredients like aloe and Brazilian botanicals. It works to reduce the size of pores which is something that I do struggle with along my nose and cheeks.
Overall, I love that I can use these products with my problem areas throughout the day or before a big event and not have to rearrange my already established skincare routine. These products can be found online or at your local Walmart.
